The Gulf of Poets

Located in the suggestive Gulf of Poets, the MARINA DEL FEZZANO is an ideal tourist port for sailing lovers. Our strategic location in a charming peaceful cove, just 6 km from Portovenere and 13 km from the Cinque Terre, offers easy access to some of the most fascinating destinations on the Italian coast.

Fezzano is a fraction of the municipality of Portovenere, in the province of La Spezia, where you can experience typically Ligurian atmosphere. The brightly colored houses huddle above the sea. The narrow streets that divide them offer passers-by glimpses of unexpected beauty. The Marina is within walking distance of typical restaurants, bars, grocery stores and newsagent’s. The pharmacy and banking services are instead about two kilometers away.

Leaving Fezzano, on the Portovenere road, about three kilometers away you will find the village of Le Grazie, located in a splendid natural bay where the Valdettaro shipyard stands.

The beauties of Portovenere, a UNESCO heritage site, are well known to Italian and foreign tourists. The old town can be easily reached both from the sea and from the mainland, thanks to a bus service active twelve months a year, although more frequent in summer. The medieval village of Portovenere is surrounded by the sea and is delimited by the walls of an ancient castle built by the Genoese. The church of San Pietro built on the sea is very suggestive, and offers a close view on the Palmaria Island.

You cannot miss an excursion to the Cinque Terre, which are only a few nautical miles away from the Marina.
